Ozzy doesn't have a good sounding voice, but it is unique and fits Sabbath's style pretty well. There are many iconic voices which aren't "good". Think Dylan, Hendrix, Bowie, Waters, etc, etc

Forgot just how good this was. That massive riff on Follow the Tears always gets me, just pure Iommi. I'll always be salty that this wasn't under the official Black Sabbath name, especially with tripe like Born Again / Seventh Star getting put "officially" under the name.

Some very revisionist takes on Ozzy Osbourne here. If you can listen to those first 4 sabbath albums and think his voice is ‘awkward and so off key’, you’re out of your mind. Very, very few vocalists could match the performances he gave on tracks like Supernaut from a technical point of view and that’s putting aside the unique aspects he brings.

But he's not a good singer and there's nothing wrong with that. He can still be loved. Technical proficiency doesn't necessarily mean somehing will be better. His voice certainly is unique and iconic

Pretty heavy sound, lots of depth....saw them tour this record and it was probably the most 'evil' show I've ever seen as well....they were definitely successful with creating a very dark atmosphere with the live show

I miss back when I didn't know the meaning of Bible Black and thought it was about a cursed bible of satanic origins. It just sounds so dark and creepy.
Then you find out the real meaning of the song is basically "boomer mad at internet" and that's just so fucking lame.
