Album kicks so much ass. I could play the opening track on loop all day.
I do miss the ambientness of the last two albums, but the music here is actually a step ahead of the others.

Yeah this is still my fave WITTR album i love ex cathedra the atmospheric section in the middle of the song is amazing. Although two hunters is starting to creep up on this in contention for my fave WITTR album it still not quite there for me.

No it's not boring, it's meant to be repetitive and atmospheric to put you in a "trance" so to speak. For some people it works and for some it doesn't.

I'm well aware of the theory behind atmospheric black metal, but the riffs on this aren't strong enough to carry the songs' weight without the incorporation of the post-rock/post-metal/ambient/shoegaze stuff of their previous works. I really do love Two Hunters like most of the people on here, but as a whole, this band is vastly overrated.
