Re-listen to ( ) because Untitled 1, 3, 4 and 8 are pretty much the best Sigur Ros has ever done; takk's amazing as well, an easy 4.5/5... leaning towards 5. If only Untitled 5 didn't suck so much ass.

This is pretty much why you should give albums a fair chance before reviewing them. I'd say its fine to change your rating without changing your review, heck I did for this exact same album, but I guess it depends on how much your going to change your rating.

See, this is basically the standard experience with Cynic. I think I listened to Focus upwards of five times before I started to like it. But changing your rating without changing your review is perfectly acceptable.

I liked Focus the first time I heard it, which is why I don't think that repeated listens are going to make me like Traced in Air any more.

Focus is a little easier to take in the first time because of the increased amount of heavy parts. Even the mellower parts are more instant due to the short durations most of them actually have within a song.
