This is their best album by far, but The Respect Issue and Speaker of The Dead also touch my tralala

I did that with a band that I ended up loving one album for. Literally EVERYTHING they did besides that one album was a 2.5

This album is ALMOST passable. If Emmure had stopped here I would have very little issue with the band.

What a terrible album. It's like they tried to take every bad stereotype about the genre and jam it into one awful album. No wonder all of the band members left the band at the same time.

Holy shit that opener is fuckin legit. Hope the rest of the album riffs like that

Edit: This production is horrendous but the guitar tone is cool

production is horrendous as in it's glossy and over-produced or in that it sounds like it was recorded in a garage?

Vocals are shoved in the background, the brickwalling clearly affects audio (especially the sound of the guitars), the entire thing in fact sounds slightly on the lo-fi side (yet the sound in general seems rather glossy).

Album still kicks my dick when jammed.
