I've always loved that song as comical value so this is a bizarre dream come true, also song is cool but Rock Lobster destroys all (both versions)

yea it doesn't matter he still sounds great in this, one of my favorite hardcore vocalists

Also, he sounds great on Narrows, which surprised the hell outta me cause I figured he'd be weaker or something but he sounds pretty monstrous. Figures, if you look at pictures of him on facebook, he's become a pretty huge dude lol

I'll download it and give it a listen.

Whoa, didn't even know Narrows was related to Botch. What makes you say that about him?

That's awesome Leb, American Nervoso is pretty underrated. It's nearly as good as WAtR imo

i need to listen to Nervoso more... i think it's pretty damn great, just lacks the earth-shattering riffs of WATR, as well as the fucking angry vocals and cohesiveness. still a top-notch core albums and prob one of the best of the 90s. just lacks the experimentation and ambient sections of WATR that i really love

I think the main problem with it for me it's that it's just really primitive, from the production to
really even songwriting it just feels more like a beta/demo of something than an actual release at
times

I can definitely see the appeal for that but it's not for me, much prefer the more careful crafting
from this and WatR

I feel that WatR production is top-notch. You can hear the bass audibly at all times. Even at that amazing breakdown of Frequency Ass Bandit the bass still is heard.

American Nervoso is pretty experimental especially with all the down-tuning mid song and what not, plus it riffs face, pretty experimental riffs, not to mention how awesome Dave's vox are on it. Not very ambient, I agree on that, it is what is.
