That seems like a bit over an overreaction to a pretty harmless question. He didn't seem to give near as much of a fuck as you appear to.
To me, that just seems like a minor quip. Just because it's a 5, doesn't necessarily mean it's 'perfect.' I feel like slightly flawed drum production could be overlooked if you are that close to feeling a 5 on an album.

Haha keep asking questions man, I admire your curiosity. But to expand on the 4.5, I also feel the drums are pretty repetitive and he tends to reuse a lot of fills. They are still almost always effective despite lacking variety.
