Incredible album. This is the transition album where they really took off.



Very consistent album with a fantastic collection of songs. The songwriting has increased leaps and bounds with more experimentation and a richer sound. The writing of the music and lyrics have matured.



One of the best songs off this album is written by George who finally got the chance to showcase his excellent song writing capability. Plus the sitar on Norwegian Wood rules.



In My Life is one of Lennon's best songs with that timeless riff. George Martin's piano contribution is also an important touch to the song.



It's very hard to rate the last few Beatles releases but this is top 5 no question.
