Good work DarkShowStopper. This album was always gonna be a little underwhelming on first listen, solely because it was never gonna be as great as 'Sufferer...'

"I never got the hype about Saviour" Has it been out as long as 'Sweet Disposition' as yet?

Yeah, I was the same for a while. I guess the only thing to do to break the addiction is listen to something else. I recommend Emery... Or maybe another Rise Against album.

Hey hey, Atavanhalen is back. I haven't been the victim... Umm, I mean had the privilege of your witty remarks for a week or 2 now. Hope all is well Mstr. Young.

My bro always liked this band, never seemed to understand the appeal to be quite honest.

This isn't too great. Previous three albums are all excellent though.

I think the main appeal in a nutshell is the combination of old-fashioned (political) hardcore/punk and melodic accessibility.

Definitely reccomend multiple listens before grading, even a month. I absolutely hated it at first, didn't listen to it for a few months. randomly started litening to it again and it's turned into my favorite Rise Against album.

Agree with those sentiments, although it's still not my fave RA album.

I never hated this album xD

At first, I thought it was pretty common...

Then I started to like a little bit... Now I love it xD

It's one of that albuns that you have to listen quite a few times first to really get into.

Strange is that I usually like the lyrics first, then I like the song. This was the opposite. Rise

Against's lyrics are very easy to understand, too easy sometimes, and that's a bad point for them in

my book.

But in overall they are great, I couldn't believe when I saw in the first place, this guys are

freaking awesome live!

Think they will return to their punkier sound or get more mainstream on their next album?

If they go back to RPM stuff, people will probably say it sounds "phony".

If they go more slightly "soft" again, people will have the same complaints.

If it's mostly the same, well....the same complaints again.
