I really thought that there were multiple vocalists, I was wrong.

Still have to listen to more of this but goddamn, Kyo's voice is too crazy awesome.

His range and the emotional power behind it are really impressive.

tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he faked his vocals live, with all the surgery and stuff, he sounded almost too good when I saw him 2 years ago in philly.

Yep, that extra polish and the few changes are worth it.

As for Kyo live, based on recent interviews and social media posts, he seems more focused on giving his best and improving, and maybe paying more attention to his techniques to avoid further surgeries.

Yeah, with Kyo -- and the rest of the band -- their work ethic and sheer will for perfection, I would find it hard to believe he used a backing track to help him along. If it was true though, I'd be crushed. haha

This is a man who is too stubborn to use any vocal dubs on Shitataru Mōrō, I really doubt he is using vocal assistance and if he is I don't really mind because he's shown countless times before his mindblowing talent on the mic. Also Aberf the quality doesn't stop, DSS, Unraveling and Arche all rival this.

There are countless instances where you can tell it's his actual voice, as he strays away from studio approaches quite noticeably.

I remember reading somewhere he had used some effects shortly after one of the surgeries years ago, but I can't find the source anymore. Anyway, I am very sure he hasn't done it for official filmed shows.

If he did rely on it performances vocally would mostly sound the same and they definately don't live to live I've watched.

Indeed. You can clearly hear he's holding notes differently from show to show.

He can easily record his vocals for concerts/different tours separately. He also does that scarf thing to shield his face from the audience.

Many people take shortcuts in life, athletes use steroids, fake pranks on youtube, governments staging/covering stuff.

Kyo just sounded waaay too good when I saw them last time, almost perfect, so suspect. I wouldn't have been surprised at all if there was some vocal tracking in there in some places.

Some incredible performances on this album, especially the vocals.

It makes me realise how lucky I am to be English in general when I find myself singing along to Vinushka in the car without having a clue what the actual words are!

If you dug this, then check the remastered iteration out ASAP. It boasts much better production values, though that goes without saying ;)
