If there is a band to rival the gayness of Opeth this is it. 2 of the biggest stains on the Swedish scene that take pretentiousness to a whole new level.

Basically the only difference between Crimson and Opeth albums of the same era is that Dan Swano opts for the clean electric passages where as Mikael bloats everything with acoustic passages. Oh and this album has some fairytale concept.

There are maybe 2 decent riffs on this entire album and you will have to dig through the bloated 40 minutes to find them. Then you have Korn riffs, mindless chugging, and plenty of horrendous pop riffs such as the ones heard at 6:10 & 23:12.

The generic vocals you hear are provided by both Swano and Akerfeldt.

The Bass and drums are completely forgettable, nothing more to say.

Melodic death metal is weak, but this takes it to a whole other level.
