Sheeran has written good songs in the past and he has a great voice but yeah he was just going through the motions to get popular pretty much and his lyrics are just "fuck my past relationships are so bad", Passenger is a wordsmith of fucking god-tier calibre. What Passenger have you heard man?

All the Little Lights? Great album but fuck Let Her Go that's like the only song people know from him and it's p much the worst on the album. When you get a chance should check the album he made while Passenger were still a five-piece band and not just him solo (that's Wicked Man's Rest) and the collab album Flight of the Crow. Haven't heard much of the other two yet but those two and All the Little Lights are fuckin' A.
