I hope he wasn't saying that. Because if so he's an idiot. Just a few examples of good music before MOP, Led Zeppelin, Jimmi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Guns N' Roses

I've never really liked Metallica, but recently I've been wanting to get some of their older albums such as this or RtL.
Battery owns. And they're is absolutely nothing wrong with Jimi. Except that he died too soon.

"Master of Puppets" is probably the only song here that I would consider great. The rest are okay, but they really don't do much for me anymore.

I prefer "Battery" over the title track. I prefer "Battery" over Rob Trujilio.

I wouldn't use the term Monkey, as I prefer Pocahontas. It doesn't feel like Metallica with Rob. He's a good bassist, he just happens to coincide with the image of the modern Metallica (Lawsuits, St. Anger, etc.).

Pocahontas?

Could you define that. To me it just sounds like a disney movie

Wow. Who would have thought such a statement would be taken so literally?

Rob is awesome and his bass solos are a lot better than Newstead's... though I still thought Newstead was an awesome bass player.

Anyway, I think all the tracks on this are great. I have to definitely say though that my favorite is MoP
