every time I see them it's always a boring stadium show. they play fine but the atmosphere is just meh

I like the review, but I really did not like this album. It's admirable that they can mix pop and rock without sounding like Fall Out Boy, but it's not going to attract many true rock fans.

What exactly is a "true rock fan"?

I don't mean like any band is "true rock." just saying that it's a good sound for people that are into it, but it's not gonna turn heads for people who aren't.

I think Anberlin does turn heads of people who have never heard of them. Maybe 'Cities' does so more than this album, but this is still a very good release from a talented and under-appreciated band.

Okay I respect everyone's opinion.

It's my personal opinion that they're not on the level where they can start getting attention from fans who don't particularly love their style of music, but I understand it's not a popular one.
