I prefer the vocals on this album to the Jester Race. But I prefer the instrumentation on Jester Race. Both are pretty close though imo.

Man, I can't stand the vocals on The Jester Race. Whoracle and Colony were much better, vocal-wise. Then... ehh...

This is a fantastic album. I still prefer The Jester Race though. The guitar work just seems more powerful on that album.
No way man. This is way better than The Jester Race. Actually, everything I've heard by Dark Tranquillity is way better than everything I've heard by In Flames.

Exactly. Opeth used to have the same problem. Remember Orchid? There were a ton of good ideas there, but they were just sort of thrown together.
