Yeah, I’d have thought they Can definitely be Arscore, for sure… maybe we just don’t talk enough

Hmmm The Colour of Spring always interested me most out of the 3 based on the little I've heard...maybe I'll put that on my mental backburner

I actually prefer The Colour of Spring to Eden and Stock. But maybe it’ll change with age. A decade ago I thought It’s My Life is the best Talk Talk. Just as I thought Ege > Tago, which sounds weird now.

I have to do a Talk Talk deep dive as well

I don't like them. It's his voice I'm afraid. A pity too, since they tick many of the right boxes otherwise.

always amused how smooth this album is; t/t sets the tone for an imaginary time travel to the coolest chill club on the planet in the 70s, and it never lets you go

Moonshake is so perfect.

God they get better with every album, currently tied between this and Ege Bamyasi. Amazing band.

Yeah this one is amazing indeed.
Babaluma is still quite nice, but after that there are even some 1.5s, yuck!

I haven't dared to travel beyond the mostly v good Babaluma. Soundtracks is kinda essential too imo.
This has eternal vibes of course.

"Soundtracks is kinda essential too imo."
It is. Mother Sky is on there, one of their best tracks.
Travelling beyond Babaluma isn't recommended I would say, but you could do it if you are interested to see what non-good Can is like.

my progress with Ege is encouraging yet it kinda does feel like a streamlined (but v good) alternative to Tago, but man this is just a different kettle of fish entirely. Almost has smoooooth chill vibes despite the rhythms. Dangerously easy to binge. Love it!
Probably bump-worthy to be fair 🤔

Yeah this is so super relaxing. Love how different the three Damo records are from each other, yet they're all 5.0s.
