Unfortunately I disliked both of those bands' latest albums so maybe not haha, seen 'em both before in the past and they destroyed

Regrettably many non-Aussie bands are incredibly hard to see when you live here so it's not all a plus haha

I LOVED DLC new album, but Karnivool's new album is pretty average not gonna lie. Sound Awake is a 5 for me though so fuckin passionate

Tbh I didn't give The Catalyst Fire that much of a shot but I heard a couple songs that were just boring. I'm kinda bored of the band nowadays and I didn't really care either way when TCF came out but back in the day man they had so much energy and passion they blew me the fuck away onstage. Karnivool were amazing too when I saw em although the venue was utter shit

Ian Kenny is so eccentric in the way he moves around on stage lol but he hits almost every note perfectly.

I dunno I've never seen him in an interview or anything so it's hard to judge that really, but with the on-stage banter when I saw them he seems like an eccentric but fairly intelligent guy

He seems quite normal in interviews. Maybe a little awkward but who cares no one is perfect. The whole band is pretty humble for the most part. One of them listens to post rock pretty hard.

When I saw them one of the guitarists was like "yeah we came to this venue in like '97 on a metal tour and when I saw the circle pit for Hatebreed I was like FUUUUUUUCK"

I couldn't stop laughing just the way he said it was fucking hilarious

Metalcore/post-hardcore I guess but they're not generic and they incorporate Karnivool-esque prog into it as well, they're a great band. I brought them up because I saw them with Dead Letter Circus and the guitarist is like the funniest dude ever he had a terrific banter with the crowd

Gotta love charismatic front man haha Leto may not be the best singer live but he fuckin owns the stage and really gets the crowds involved.

That's cool haven't listened to them in a long time but that's still a great album, particularly the title track.
