Another weak release from the most overrated band in death metal.
Inconsistent, weak riffs, sub-par drumming, comical effects, laughably bad lyrics (Inquisition (Burn With Me)), and atrocious macho vocals.
The radio friendly number "Where The Slime Live" was cool until the irritating vocals kicked in. Vincent's vocal performance is absolutely horrendous. The song itself? Yeah it goes nowhere and the 'solo' blows.
Another stinker is Caeser's Palace aka 'we ran out of ideas but maybe no one will notice.' What an embarrassment.
Hatework is so bad it could have been put on Illud Divinum Insanus. Written by a wanker guitar player, this track is everything wrong with late 90s metal. It's overblown, bland, and pretentious. Definitely one of the worst tracks this awful band has done.
The cover art is a joke in itself.
Avoid at all costs.
