One of the very first of heavier cd's I bought, at FYE's no less. Never once doubted that purchase, even though it was close to $20. Just wish they would play "some seek" at their shows

i cant get into their newer ones. I can accept them being a pop-core band but i cant accept them doing heavier music. i dunno if that makes sense. Maybe seeing them live in a week-ish will change my mind

Here here Big 80. Not a big fan of Underoath's last two album but this is pretty cool adn The Changing Of Times is best of all.

Does Spencer sing on this as well, because there are def. two different cleans going on at times. Or is the guitar player or someone else?

This album was the first underoath album i ever heard and it made underoath my the 1st metal band i liked and it also introduced me to other metal acts. The song Reinventing your exit had the right blend of pop-punk with screamo-metalcore and after listening to the rest of the album i had enjoyed many of the other songs like young and aspiring, a boy brushed red..., the impact.., it's dangerous, and almost the rest of the album

i wouldnt call this outing metal probably... more a long the lines of post-hardcore. Their first two albums (or EPs or whatever you want to call them) are a lot more metal then this. Define the Great line is like this album but heavier and same with their newest album

I started my journey into "metal" with this release too. It's poppy enough to be a good bridge into other genres.

wow yo that's pretty harsh, this is a pretty happy-sounding album if you listen to it in a deep and philosophical way
