ii'm doing my favourite past time: transfering mites from alcohol to microscope slides. I have been working on this sample since last week; it has a lot of creatures and it's quite dirty with sand and stuff, so it's a bit of a pain

Yes this is my least fave Anneke. Still a bloody good album but yeah, Disclosure is superb as well.

Revisiting this today. Definitely one of my favorites, I rank it above HTMAP for sure. "Shot to Pieces" is such a great uptempo rock song, Rollercoaster, Bad Movie Scene (one of their most beautiful tunes), Colorado Incident, the often overlooked Morphia's Waltz... Not to mention the ones named in most comments here (Amity, Analog Park, Saturnine). Too many great songs in one รกlbum for it not to be superp. This is only short of a five because Nighttime Birds and Mandylion exist.

and yes yes Morphia's Waltz is v overlooked and a supercute (basically) closer
Disclosure has more and (mostly) stronger highlights than this, Trif/Demon defs in the right here

Hard to tell which one is better.
This one has my fav TG song (Saturnine), but on the other hand I never cared about the 2 instrumentals.

I think the instrumentals fit well with the flow of the album for a change, I don't mind them. They're the weakest link here for sure, but I usually don't skip them when listening to the whole record.
