Everyone do yourself a favor and check out the Letterman performance of Skinny Love on youtube if you haven't already. Watch the whole thing too because the drums at the end add so much. It'll blow your mind - probably better than the studio version.

Not necessarily. An album can be near faultless (this one, at worst, can be written to a fault of repetition, perhaps) without being a classic. I'm certain if I were to give this record more time I would up my rating.

oh my god relistening to this album after a break from it for months is mind blowing. creature fear is the best song on here. this is soooo close to a five.
plus this drudges up a lot of old emotions from a relationship i had when i was listening to this heavily, like everyday. she got into it to, so it was playing in both our cars. makes the listen that much more depressing.
