the glitches and creepy samples provide a really engaging darkness to the equally engaging, beautiful strings. i really feel like without the almost evil sounding electronic beats and samples it wouldn't have as much character or force
there's a couple samples and drum machine glitches in write once run melos that, in my opinion, make one of the most dismal yet beautiful atmospheres i've heard in any album
