Absolutely man.

Did you check the demo versions on Downfall 's re-release with Bart Smits?

I still need to check Dreamflight's av... Disclosure (apparently), it serves as a constant reminder of my failings

My research is clearly incomplete but preferring Beautiful Distortion to this does seem a little crazy Pang. These guys have a way of seeping their way in gradually though and I do remember that one being immediately gratifying, so maybe almost understandable (still weird tho)

definitely check Souvenirs (Pang)

Yeah it apparently is the LP version. I don't think that's applicable at all, the normal version is way more common and was first (both in EU and US and other territories).

Third Chance bangs for sure and the T/T is a huge stand-out for me. The whole triumvirate (with Kevin's Telescope) is wonderful.

Souvenirs sounds far too low for that to be a legitimate ranking Willie, so old school The Gathering fan or not, I'm afraid you have been disqualified on that basis ;-)

This band is pretty interesting for having such variation in the releases people will champion... it seems there isn't a true 'consensus' i.e. an obvious 1-2-3 etc. Initially I thought there was, but perhaps not.

It shows that they have many very high quality records. Something I can definitely agree with.

"T/T is a huge stand-out for me" also this and yes RE the triumvirate.

I wouldn't know where to begin with ranking the albums, other than Planet at 1 and those first two at the bottom haha.

Yup, that's part of Mandylion's charm.

For me it goes: Mandylion > Nighttime Birds > How to Measure a Planet? > if_then_else > Always > Beautiful Distortion > Home > Souvenirs > The West Pole > Disclosure > Almost a Dance.

Mandylion is a cute growing pains album - band come off like an adorable bunch of prog nerds with no idea how best to use Anneke, who ends up going 120% at all points with zero course correction

HEATHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
