What I really hate is when they use lyrics from the band's old songs to try and make tepid ironic statements. Most commonly, they just say, "This is the end of all hope."
Do they really think they're being clever?

Worst of all is that they're judging a band based on who the lead singer is. So long as Tuomas writes the stuff it will always be Nightwish. Tarja was only the singer, she never contributed to writing the songs. She is a fantastic singer and I do like her solo work (even though she is somewhat down to covering Nirvana and Alice Cooper) but saying that she was the true core of Nightwish is ridiculous. Anyone who judges an artist on WHO they are over the significance of WHAT they do doesn't deserve to be listening to the music in the first place.

This reminds me. I've noticed a small group of Tarja's fans who have taken to using Finnish profanity to curse out her critics and those who in general have ceased to miss her.
