Just finished listening to it and I mean wow. Best listen of that album ever. I mean if I can get that audio quality from vinyl I'm defiantly getting a turntable in the near future.

Album title is justified by listening to the album. Album sounds so Spiderland-ish.

I'm getting a turntable and loads of vinyl for Christmas (I hope). This is on my I must have list.

It's so appropriately titled. The name came from McMahan's younger brother too.

"This song strangely reminds of the film Donnie Darko; "He knew what he had to do/He was responsible/In the mirror/He saw his friend". Especially as he is saying this part, he speaks in the same manner in which Donnie spoke. Also, the name of the song. Perhaps the film was inspired by Slint?"

Taken from a comment on songmeanings about Don, Aman. Most likely not true, but interesting nonetheless

Every song is amazing (except For Dinner which is more of an interlude).

Part of the reason for a 5 is the influence on post-rock and post-hardcore/emo/screamo. One of the most influential albums.
