In my opinion Demigod is one of the best metal records of the last decade. This album is remarkably consistent and

unbelievably dark.



Nergal was truly inspired here.

Behemoth kicks ass.

They are my favourite band, but let's be serious. Those vocal layers in demigod start to become anoying from a point and on...

I definitely prefer the clearer vocals in apsostasy or evangelion (with apsostasy being my favourite album forever and beyond)...

Also the lyrics are nothing campared to The apostasy lyrical theme...

(Except conquer all and The reign of shemsu hor. Before aeons came is a poem by swinburn, which by the way is fucking amazing)

In few lines it is a brutal, raw interesting album. 3.5/5
