It's pretty hilarious that Ithyphallic has a 0.9 drop off from Annhilation. I haven't heard this but I thought Annhilation was pretty badass for two minutes so I might try this and following SCREAM are now Thor?

Never really being a fan of Nile, I listened to this record first and I must say it is really not good at all. The band in general is decent aside from repetitiveness and sub-par riffing. The only thing I really enjoyed is the vocals.
I might check out some of their earlier stuff, hoping it's not as boring as this.

I'd like better production, and the blast beats really do grate after half an hour straight, but I really wouldn't say the album's THAT bad. And, as for "Papyrus Containing the Spell to Make Me Stop Reading the Title, Thank God," it's hard to dis that too hard when you've heard a few Cannibal Corpse song titles.
Though I disagree with you on a few points, that was a really good review.

I reckon this Review is rather harsh. To be honest I didnt like this album at the beginning, but after a while and a few more listens later on, it grew on me. This Album is rather brutal and Epic.

Im rather confused about the "Boring Death metal" comments..........at least they try something new, and have some originality buy bringing Egyptian infulence into the genre. And it works! So I dont think their boring, their interesting and original. Not like the wave of endless boring same old Death metal today. But thats just me.
