Even though it's the most accessible track, I honestly feel like Height Down has to be one of the greatest songs ever recorded. The guitar is just amazing and River's vox almost sound otherworldly. It truly gives me chills.

Bumpin forever. Every time I jam this I feel like I stumbled upon some secret people aren't suppose to know about. I can't imagine anyone ever being able to replicate this album's sound again not even John his self.

"simple pop songs like 'Height Down'" - ha, WHAT are you talking about here?? nothing simple or poppy about it (except for the heroin), in case you missed the second half of the song. this is not something that would fly on popular radio.

I heard this quite a bit last summer, dunno why i didn't rate it. Probably a 3 for me, gonna give it another spin tomorrow maybe.
