Ah yeah. Thing is, s/t manages to take a step forward while mantaining the band's identity so I can dig it, but the last one is just soooo different, all the things I liked about this band are mostly gone.
Not saying it's worst or whatever, just saying why I don't like the last one.

hahaha yeah, it's def not a bad album and accomplishes what they were going for.
On Be Alone now, nice track. There were some fillers, ukelele interludes were kind of meh.
Really intrigued about that 7 min. closer. Let's see.

Well, that's my first impression but I haven't heard Brand New Eyes in a while, a re-listen might turn the tables. Riot! still my fave, no doubt.

Dewinged nice rating on the S/t man! That's my personal favourite record from them, just about flawless if you ask me, with BNE not far behind.

Yeah, feel the same brah, some parts of s/t feel like an evolved version of Riot!, some others veer towards their newer stuff that i don't dig much but overall it's solid, maybe a bit too long, or maybe it's the interludes idk.
It def. doesn't deserve the bashing it took in the soundoff section lol
