Yeah i was pretty set on the fact that this is deathcore. Listen to real death metal like deicide, nile, behemoth, whatever and then please tell me that Job For A Cowboy has a hardcore influence.

Dying Fetus has hardcore influence, but they're still considered technical brutal death metal. If this has any hxc influence it's making it slam death metal, if anything at all.
I don't think you've listened to this album if you're still calling this deathcore. This, to me, sounds like a poor man's version of Behemoth's "Demigod" (which isn't a bad thing, because Demigod is a monster of an album).

Like I said, it's loose. Alot of bands that are brutal death metal are sometimes called slam death metal for the "slammyness" (?) of the music when compared with other brutal death metal like Krisiun or Nile. It's not used that often.
