Don't understand the perspective of liking FOC and not liking the rest of the album.

I didn't even like it that much, it just had a lot more going on that I liked is all. I Catapult had a really dope part in it too, and then went back to being boring

Yeah idk, it's just super generic. How are these guys different than the countless thousands of other post-hardcore bands out there? The production is good on the new album, but the vocals are so w.e. and the music leaves a lot to be desired. This is like, entry-level music, or at least it reminds me of the stuff I used to be into in high school when I was venturing out into new genres. Just don't see the appeal of bands like this and A Day to Remember. Far as I can tell, the album art is the best thing about the new album

Gyro I think A Day to Remember is a lot more entry-level than Hopesfall. I mean I don’t think Hopesfall is the second coming of Christ like some people but I do find their spacey aesthetic and overall discography very enjoyable. A Day to Remember annoys the hell out of me

Being the second coming of christ is not that big of a feat to accomplish bands do it all the time including hopesfall.

Also hopesfall is the only band worth noting when one guitar plays a rhythm and another plays a dissonant lead part at the same time. No one else does that. Apparently? It makes me feel happy

i guess that's cool if it's true, but it still sounds pretty generic?
