The first 20 seconds of There Is No Business to Be Done on a Dead Planet makes me spill my milk, if you get my drift lololololol.
Wage Slaves is ftw aswell. Makes me think of what Appetite For Destruction would sound like if it were a deathcore album.

I just love the guitar work on this album. I think ASP musicality is what really lifts them above the rest of the 'deathcore' bands out there.

I think ASP musicality is what really lifts them above the rest of the 'deathcore' bands out there. That and the fact that the vocals on this album energize the shit out of you instead of boring you to tears

Yeah the vocals are amazing. This is by far the best deathcore album that I've heard, even though I haven't heard that many.

OK review. About the lyrics being indecipherable, that's retarded. Who cares. I prefer to not hear words tbh.
This album is one of my favorite death albums because of songs like "Eradication," "The Last Relapse," "The True Beast," and "Prisoner of War."
I agree with you that the high pitched vocals get annoying after a while. Basically any vocals on this album that aren't death vocals and pig squeals make me cringe (except for the choir like singing a the intro to "The Last Relapse"). Some of the album sounds emo or nu-metal because of that. Eddie needs to stick to strictly death vocals and pig squeals. He'd be my favorite vocalist of all time if he did.
Also too many breakdowns and powerchords. More shredding is what i would prefer. The guitars are awesome otherwise. This Message Edited On 08.22.08

when i can understand the lyrics perfectly, that's not death metal to me. i cringe at the "I detest this life" and "end this life" parts in "Eradication". Also i think the "fuck everything you ever told me ... " part in "better living through catastrophe" is super lame. sounds nu-metal to me and borderline emo. I want to scare people when i blast this music out of my car not make them think i'm a pussy.
overall i'm impressed with the vocals on the album though. and don't get pissy because i probably enjoy the album more than you it's all i've been listening to the past 2 weeks.

Nah, you have it as a 4, he has it as a 4.5 as do I.
I can sense some nu-metal touches here and there but emo? No way. Besides, people who don't listen to metal wouldn't be able to really discern any lyrics off this on just a passing listen (like walking by your car for example). You will most definitely scare the shit out of them.

Yeah thats kind of dumb to think that you like this more than me if your rating is lower. And I agree with pretty much everything AngelPhoenix said.
