I've been jamming this constantly in my car for the past week (my iPod broke, so I'm depending on CDs).

This has always been one of my favorite albums, and I really, really want to 5 it, but there's one thing that keeps me from doing so: The drums are so bland. This album would EASILY be a 5 if Eppard had put in any sort of effort on this album.

He's been amazing ever since he came back, but the drums on this album are just so bland.

that's not true tho

he's never been technically proficient but that's his thing. he plays exactly what the song needs. i love how he doesn't end every fill with a crash. and he groooooves, so hard. and then every once in a while he'll break out something funky like the end of the willing well i.
