I was listening to Witchcult and thought the riffs were a lot like the ones on this album.

Witchcult is EW's most retro-worshipping album. Fanatics and Dopethrone are different beasts.
Anyway, this album rules.

Just found an original vinyl version of this at store yesterday used for $19.99. The cover was in mint condition and there wasn’t even 1 scratch on the LP anywhere. I don’t know if it was supposed to have an inner lyric sheet though because only the LP was inside the album jacket. I cleaned the album up really well and threw it on the turntable not knowing what to expect because I’ve never heard any Saint Vitus material. Right when the needle drops and I hear that pick scraping heavily distorted guitar I knew I was in Metal heaven lol. This is a very unique Doom Metal album and I really love the sound of it. Awesome stuff.
