Absinthe With faust has a really damn cool verse. Chorus isn't shabby either. Best move they made on this record was inviting the ex Theatre Of Tragedy singer for Nymphetamine.

I think he was amazed you rated it so highly, as you think most of it is shit.
Personally I don't think its too bad, a 3 is about right because although there is a lot of poor tracks here, there are also some pretty good ones.

Nymphetamine is most notably one of the most common and well known C.O.F songs. It does use a nice keyboard riff at the start which on the downside is repetitive throughout the song. Although the first time i heard Swansong For A Raven it blew me away with a simple yet efficient piano riff to keep us satisfied until breaking the ice with a nice drumming fit and guitar fill. One of my favourite Cradle Of Filth albums.

This album by Cradle of Filth is pretty good and actually increased my respect of some of their other stuff. I particularly like Nemesis, Gabrielle, and Nymphetamine Overdose.
