DT is not all about being progressive. Meaning time changes and complicated arrangemets. This is what they became in the years to follow.

This is by far, along with Awake following their most complete and greatest album.

Full of different ideas developed here, you will find great ballads, great staraight rock oriented tunes and the classics (and dare i say some of their best) proogressive ''magnum opuses'' they have ever written.

Sherinian's keyboard sounds are so different from anything at the time yet so distinct you gotta love him!

Here you find some of Jame's most interesting vocal lines, a time when he too was experimenting.

It was a time when being ''prog'' didn't matter, and this has to apply today too, but it doesn't sadly.

Old fans, open minded music lovers will get what i say.

The newer ones it is easy to understand, when looking back so many years, not to like this a bit. But that doesn't say anything about Falling Into Infinity's timeless class.

A true gem of the 90's regardless of music tags, prog or not prog.

Yeah, although he's gone a bit overboard it's good to see this recognised as being up there with their better albums.

it's not the lesser wankery that makes me dislike stuff on this, but the blatant facepalm-inducing tracks like you not me, burning my soul and take away my pain

Those tracks are still better than the worst songs on most post-Six Degress DT albums.

Lol yeah that's not true at all. I listen to lots of post-2000 music.

I don't hate post-2000 DT, I just think it's a lot weaker than what came before.

Modern PT is lethargic and pretty poorly written, just everyone accept it so we can move on!
