don't get why tommy says Neukoln would be better as a closer, it's just TOO bleak to end it on. It worked on Low, but with "Heroes", it just doesn't feel right. Plus, it'd be too predictable to end the album with just a side of instrumentals - again. Plus, with lyrics like "You must see the movie/the sand in my eyes/I walk through a desert song/When the heroine dies", Secret Life comes across like it's a preview to Lodger, which would expand upon the world themes on its first side. It's the perfect ending.
