plus Hole in the Earth, Beware, Cherry Waves, Xerces, Combat, Kimdracula, and Riviere are all top-tier Deftones tracks

Mein, Konami Code, and Rats! aren't too far behind for me either

Mein's probably my favorite Deftones song in general thanks to that Serj feature.

back to school kind of sucks compared to other tones but its still a fun jam. sounds like it would've been alongside ATF or Adrenaline soundwise

ye 100%. I picked up the mini EP not having any idea who Deftones were because of that track and then I feel in love with them.

Back 2 School is the quintessential first song by deftones you ever heard as a millennial and were like “woaaaahhhhh” and then you get into deftones and realize it’s like their worst song

Lava take, but I actually prefer the version of WP with Back to School on it, mostly because of how it and Pink Maggit serve as appropriate bookends. Feiticeira never struck me as a proper opener tbh

WP is a very poorly sequenced album in general tbh. Definitely their most overrated work aside from Diamond eyes

I definitely agree regarding Diamond Eyes being overrated. Still a fan of the album, but it peaks too early and then spends too much of the back half on samey ballads

Diamond Eyes was pretty good, but i wish more songs like Prince and the final two were on it.

Tbf Diamond Eyes was probably rushed a bit because of what happened to Chi. Still wonder what Eros would've been like.

This. Back to School and Pink Maggit make the perfect opener/closer combo. Feiticeira kinda sucks too.

i can see cases for either really

back to school had more energy and was more accessibly bouncy and fun while feiticeira was more of a lead-in to the i guess more gazey elements of the album. its defo bottom 3 on the album tho.

Feiticeira is one of the only WP songs that isn't overrated as ham
Diamond Eyes blows chunks though. fucking horrible opening combo, junztones at their worst. following albums are iffy at best, but yikes what an awful comeback
