I know you like the way that I look
And it looks like I like you too
You know I do
I like the way you know
That I like how you look
And you like me too
I know you do
I see you look at me
And I know that you think
You like what you see
I want you too

looking back its actually pretty impressive how pc music augured (or better yet, directly influenced) the rise of hyperpop

Honestly I think what annoys me is this stereotype that I must like hyperpop because I'm trans. Literally fuck off.

Ah yes your sexuality and gender pronouns really do have a lot to do with the music you enjoy after all

@Ven
That’s a stereotype I’ve never heard before, wow. Some go so far out of their way sometimes
|
| |
honestly hyperpop is played out at this point
1000 gecs was kinda the death knell for the style
all u need is that and "vroom vroom"
|
| |
Is there any good hyperpop? It came and went so fast that i don’t really know any artists under the tag
|
| |
1000 gecs is fun and kinda the blueprint
i rly liked unlimited ammo by namasena but its basically bubblegum bass if you care to make the distinction
|
| |
Unlimited ammo slaps
|
| |
Oof, it feels like new genres are popping up monthly, though bubblegum bass I’ve heard of, though i don’t know what it means
|

“You heard it here first folks I called porter robinson normie music and I’m a hipster”
Tbf you’re an alchemist simp so the hipster thing might have some weight to it
|
| |
Gonna add unlimited ammo to my list

“looking back its actually pretty impressive how pc music augured (or better yet, directly influenced) the rise of hyperpop”
Why?

Nah it is a stereotype I tell someone I'm trans and a lot of them ask if I'm into hyperpop and they're always shocked when I say I'm not.

I’ve found that at least something in almost every genre I will get enjoyment out of. I just haven’t found that yet with hyper pop or pc music.

Closest I've gotten is that breakdown in BMTH's Lost. Most hyperpop is just. Idk. Reminds me too much of Nightcore where everything's so fast, upbeat and cheery. It's just not my style.

Thanks for the recs! Gonna Czech $$$
When i hear that someone legitimately thinks that a trans person must like hyperpop because they’re trans, i feel a strange mixture of irritation and dumbfoundedness. Ven, how are there so many tards in your orbit?
