Idk I heard a conversation on why cutting McCoy makes sense and it honestly does. McCoy is older, a new head coach coming in, an OC who worked with Josh Dobbs last year and a serviceable rookie who was as good if not better than McCoy.

Cutting McCoy does make sense, but it also sends a very clear message. He was an experienced vet and the most tenured QB on the roster, makes it all the more apparent that the tank is now fully armed and operational.

That roster is pretty empty though, and without a decent QB, I highly doubt their chances. Gannon's last impression was also being totally dismantled by Andy Reid; doesn't inspire much confidence. Philly fans in general weren't really a fan of him.
