They’ve already said they’re playing the Christmas show and Keith said he’d be there. Seems like he probably just wigged out for a second lol

The way Keith (maybe unintentionally) has a mob of people against the band has me thinking otherwise. If I was Jordan or any of the other guys for that matter, I'd be pretty irritated that a lot of people are writing BS about them. Especially so many people saying that Keith is the only member you couldn't replace. That's absolute shit. If the guitar players were replaced tomorrow, I wouldn't be excited for anymore music from these guys. The music is just as good as the vocals, actually, the music is better in my opinion.

What a weird situation all around. Didn't expect this kind of turmoil from them.

I'm relatively new to this band, but it's weird to me that Keith can write a self aware song titled "I didn't want to join your stupid cult anyway" and then seemingly fall into all the cult-y brand of self help stuff

I guess, but he probably meant that as a metaphor for something.

Getting sober and taking care of your body is "cult-y self help stuff"? Wha?

They didn't specify "sober" as a cult, it reads "self help". I think his movement into whatever "self help" is here though is being overblown. People saying he's becoming unglued from reality and shit like that, all because he made public statements. Weird.

fun album but doesn't feel all that special to me. Could have used some editting too; there is not really enough variety to justify 16 tracks

Sly and Post Boredom are off the charts fun

But I also agree that this didn't need to be 16 tracks

Man, there's no way to tell what is going on from just a couple tweets so we just need to chill. I'm wondering if Keith is having a hard time because a lot of the songs they play talk about substances/ abuse and being on the road is probably bringing up a lot of things that it was easier to push to the side when isolated from it. I genuinely believe that the band wasn't trying to oust Keith when they posted that he would be stepping aside to focus on his and health but what they need to do is get off the internet, sit down, and hash it out as brothers. And if it's for the betterment of all parties to split then great. ETID went out on top.

That being said, I wonder if the band will stop playing some of their staple party songs... at least for a while. It'll be interesting to see if the music shifts because of Keith's new sobriety (which isn't to say it will be worse or anything).
