Benighted is placed so well on the album. And it's upbeat yet dark enough to not slow the pace too much. And that solo is so velvety smooth :good:

It would be 100 times better for Opeth and alike bands not to implement brutal vocals in sth that has no need of those. This tension to "let's put a little bit of everything inside, so that everybody says how cool and prog we sound", really spoils an effort by these good musicians. The black metal parts are cheap, mediocre and ruin the whole package. Where are Opeth in 2014?

The funniest thing about Opeth, is the fact that ppl who have absolutely no relation to metal music whatsoever, try to convince people that this deserves 5.0. I'm actually having huge amounts of fun with you guys. I have hundreds of friends who listen literaly every genre in heavy metal. None of them really likes Opeth. That's the plain truth. The only person i know who's really into Opeth, has absolutely no connection to heavy metal. So, underflow, give us your reasons why you think this is a 5.0. Judging by your tastes, you don't know a to b concerning heavy metal... Same for climactic, who listens hip hop music and who has an avatar, really revealing... I couldn't agree more with you dude... You really are the incarnation of lol :D
