@bloc when I saw them play it live I didn't notice a laptop but maybe they were being sneaky about it (or I was having too much of a cathartic experience to notice)

My favorite electronic, keyboards and synths are on Altar Of Plagues - Teethed Glory and Injury.

He probably uses Moog + Nord keyboards or something like that during live shows, but check out these photos from aDtF studio sessions, made me (as a keyboard/synth player) super jealous.

Best metal synths ever made, confirmed (although I slightly prefer older material with Anders).

Just spent the last 2 days playing their discog from start to finish to prep me for the new one, albeit I’m lagging behind as this has been out for quite a while. First impression is it has retained quite a bit of Vertikal but tempered with the heavier immediacy of Salvation. My thoughts at the moment while all albums are still very fresh in my mind Salvation>SatH>A Dawn to Fear>Vertikal>The Beyond>Eternal Kingdom>s/t.
Eternal Kingdom was/is really difficult to place. Just not sure how I feel about it. First 3 tracks I love, then it kind of wanders off before coming back for a strong finish. And the new one, could end up being a 5.0 in which case not sure if it stays 3rd. Seems to be a perfect blend of the last 4 albums.
