I'll never forget hearing this album on the overhead at an ice cream shop while smelling fresh waffle cones and thinking "damn this place is fucking awesome"

Yeah it was pretty sick. Lickin' a raspberry chocolate brownie filled cone to Wasted Years and Heaven Can Wait like it was the soundtrack to an awakening.

That reminds me of when I heard Time Flies by Porcupine Tree at Disneyland. Pretty much made my day, lol

I think the weirdest "wtf is this music playing here..." moment was Fink (a failry unknown british singer songwriter based in Berlin) being played ON THE STREET's speakers, you know those ones they use for announcements, etc on a remote and deserted Japanese village.

I'm a big fan of him so it was pretty surreal.

Yeah I mean what do you expect to hear on there? Coldplay and Sia is about as hip as they get, and that's not very ensuring.

In a Japanese town though, that would blow me away to hear some obscure British or American group on there.

It's been interesting to hear Kpop on mainstream radio lately that's for sure.

Maiden solos are some of the all time greatest things set down on record.

Zak, we don't always see to eye to eye, but that is an absolute truth if I've ever seen one.
