That stuff ended up 6th best of 2016? With a production that shitty? LOL.

Seriously, I love what they are writing but their music is inaudible, be it on CD or live. Making pseudo-chaotic music doesn't necessarily mean doing a sloppy job when it comes to production (and especially mastering).

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Immolation will remain the master (pun intended) forever.

The beauty of how ulcerate produce their music is you hear new progressions and movements every time you spin it. Every different sound system you bump it off will show you a different element or hidden riff. AND IF YOU JAM THIS ON STUDIO MONITORS YOUR BRAIN WILL BE FRIED

Ive never had that problem with ulcerate. first time heard these guys i was walking home in a blizzard in the middle of the night and i almost started crying tears of joy. At the time, Destroyers of All was the single greatest thing to ever grace my ears.
