These guys and The Wrens are the two supposedly upcoming albums I'm anticipating most this decade haha.

*Beautiful heartbreaking strings*

Honestly, I wonder how much money they invested in production. It's all so rich but rare for a small indie band to hire actual strings and such

They poured their hearts and souls into this one so it was definitely worth the money. Those strings sound astoundingly lush and massive.

Also, anyone else get extremely sad and now timely vibes from The Good Days? God that song is so minimal yet it really pounds home the idea of what "used to be."

It's quite alright. Neutral Milk Hotel never did, and look at the impact they had. Sometimes it's for the best (:

Sad to say I only truly understood this album when I finished uni and everything made sense, especially more subtle tracks like The Good Days

Also to you Americans, one thing you may not have picked up is that Glasgow, where these guys are from is nicknamed 'the dear green place', which just adds a bit more to already perfect lyrics

Really really enjoying this album. A lot more than I expected. Anybody know where the best place to purchase a physical copy would be. I've looked at some sites, and I'm not seeing much.

record label that put out the CD doesn't seem to be active anymore (their facebook isn't active and their website is down), so beyond asking the band directly idk if it's even in print anymore.

Thank you for saying the truth in a Sputnik thread.

But the run and flow from Here is Where, House is Aglow, and South Street is the absolute peak
