Silent, you always know all of the good psychedelic music, it always amazes me.

She sounds pretty good to me. Her voice is very soothing, it really blends well with the mellow sound of the music... at least in my opinion, of course. The guitar work is really great.

Thematically, and what it represents make this the only album from the last twenty years that I would call "important" straight faced.

Dunno about 'only', but yeah, this is thematically pretty damn significant to me

What if an album is too perfect and it sounds like it was obviously written to be popular? (big if there)

Well, Kid A is retarded anyway coz cut the kids in half and lemon sucking and heads on sticks but ventriloquists etc, but artistic vision makes it great
Will check later, am giving the new Agalloch EP a listen, will stop when I decide that it totally blows

"My memory never fails me bro"

yeah I'm the same way, I tend remember everything I've ever heard/seen/read. The sad part is i get sick of albums very quickly becuase i've absorved most of it by the first listen. After like the fifth time I hear an album I find it boring no matter how good it is becuase by that time I have it completely memorized.

I mean, I've seen users say that they've listened to "the devil and god are raging inside me" 300 times. I could never do that, the only way I can listen to something more than forty times without going crazy is if I have an intense emotional connection to it in which case listening to it brings up memories or helps me cope with negative emotions.

Potsy listens to 1 song from each album and just uses his knowledge of music and the song titles to fill in the blanks.
