Yeah I suppose it could take a while to get into this. It's not very listenable...but once it clicks, it totally carves out a place in your brain. I 5'd this over 2 years ago and it's still one of the best 5's I've ever given.

Haha yeah well it's definitely not worth trying to grasp an album if it pisses you off.
The droning repetitiveness could easily work someone's last nerve. The only reason it was so easy for my to listen is because when this came out in 2012 I had an hour long commute each way to work, so I'd hear CD1 on the way down and CD2 on the way back up. Then, when I'd drive to see my girlfriend, I'd hear the whole thing.

Yeah lol I'm not interested. I'll try the next album when there is one. I love long drives where you get to hear an entire album. One of the best things about life to me

There is one! To Be Kind was released this year. IMO it's worse than this album, but it is slightly more melodic. You might like it. Or at least not hate it.
