I dunno, I think Futures has this one about right. I think it just feels too light to have post-metal bits in it, whereas post-rock fits some elements quite nicely. What elements did you pick up on that made you think of post-metal?

Like quite a bit of pale companion. And a lot of ashes. I always considered post metal to be a much heavier form of post rock, I never thought that it HAD to have sludgy riffs. I mean, quite a bit of Isis doesn't have that...yet they're a major post metal band.

I thought that's what it was anyway, and the thickness was just a by-product of it! I'll have to have another listen at some point (I'm well overdue one anyway I think) so I'll see if I can pick it up.
