You make valid points. But where do you put Empire in all of this?

I feel like the ambient parts are there just to be a break from all the crushing heavyness. Those tracks does feel like they've been rushed and forced in to the middle of this.

Empire has it's place in the album i guess, and for a while i thought it would sink in, but it didn't. Much like a The Arusha Accord song that didn't quite work.

100% agreed there. I couldn't express it better myself, but that is indeed how i feel about them. Those slower ones don't quite go well with the rest of the album, instead feel like they were rushed into it, i don't feel them making a good blend at all.

empire is like the perfect opener, unleashes everything right from the start, the rest of the album is just like a trip. flows perfect, i like how they reused one of the early riffs on nicholas, it just sounds so good
