just spent a bunch of money on the reissue and axe to fall vinyl, was definitely worth it. i'm also boosting my rating for this to a 5 cause it really never gets old and is fucking awesome.

Sooooo, I love this, but the rest of the Converge I have doesn't even come close to being this good, what album should I be listening to?
I have Axe to Fall, Petitioning, and You Fail Me.

well you've got the good ones... it gets a lotta shit, but I actually like No Heroes quite a bit. Although not as good as this or You Fail Me...

I really actually like the stuff I have, but this is in a completely different league of amazing. The other albums (especially Petitioning) are awesome, but they aren't Jane Doe. I know its a little ridiculous to expect two Jane Does, but I can't help feeling underwhelmed.

yeah, I'll go with that. Nothing else touches this, but I'd say Petitioning and You Fail Me come closest.
|
| |
You Fail Me is pretty close in sound, but Petitioning is such good thrash/punk. Both just around a 4 though, whereas I would give Jane Doe a 6 if I could.

Yeah, Jane Doe's the only one I have above a 4 I think. Check out No Heroes, it's more raw than Axe To Fall, but still has some of that experimental element.
